Naylor's First Christmas

Naylor's first Christmas was an adventure, and it was so much fun, definately something we will remember for forever.  It was Christmas down in Utah this year so we went to all my family things.  Christmas Eve we were all over at Grandma and Grandpa Jensen's house for that party, it included good food, great family, and a visit from Santa Clause where all the kids get pajamas.  I love this party it is such a fun Christmas party and I seriously love everything about it.  Another picture overloaded post!!

Doing the Nativity from the Bible

Santa brought the great-grandson's (minus Naylor) coal.  I personally love Myles face! It is awesome!
Naylor meeting Santa, he wasn't really scared just kept trying to pull on his beard and looking at him.
Naylor looking at Santa and trying to eat his beard.

This is what Naylor did to every single present he got, he tried to eat it.  I think it the shiny paper caught his eye and everything he gets in his hands goes to his mouth.
 Riley and I with Santa.
 Naylor and Momma Christmas morning!
Naylor a little tired on Christmas morning, I was so excited for Naylor to wake up, I might have woken him up to get a jump on the day!  Ha ha
Naylor opening a present from Aunt Leanne Sabey, he loves it.
Riley opening his first Christmas present.
Naylor again looking at stuff he got from Grandma and Grandpa Sabey.
Momma getting her camoflauge hoodie that she wanted.

It was such a fabulous Christmas and I am so extremely grateful to have Naylor here with us celebrating,  I am extremely grateful for the real reason we celebrate Christmas and am thankful everyday for Jesus Christ and what he did for us.

Pre-Christmas Party

The week before Christmas Riley, Naylor, and I took a trip to Canada.  This year is Christmas down in Utah so we still wanted to go up and see everybody for the holiday.  It was so much fun we went to a hockey game in Lethbridge, and curling, lots of visiting and family time, it was so much fun and it was SO cold.  We had a blast up there and Naylor sure loved seeing his family up there, and they all loved seeing him. Warning picture overload!!!!!
This isn't from Canada but this is how daddy dresses Naylor while momma is working. Love both of my boys!

Riley and I at the hockey game!!

These two are second cousins (Riley and Maren are first cousins) born three weeks apart from each other and Naylor has finally caught up to him in height and weight.  They will be such good friends.
Naylor not quite sure what to do with this present.

Best Year

This week last year Riley and I found out we were pregnant with Naylor, it is amazing to have gone from just learning we were pregnant to this amazingly cute little baby boy we have in our arms.  He has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives.  Thanks for joining our little family Naylor, we absolutely love you!

Momma's Roadtrip

A couple weeks ago, Riley was hunting with my family and I didn't want to stay home alone so I thought well this would be a great time to take Naylor up to Canada to visit Riley's family, only problem Riley wouldn't let me travel up there alone, especially with a baby, so Riley's cousins from St. George (Matt and Emily) were kind enough to go with me, and I was so grateful that they came.  So off we went on Thursday and left on Monday (we barely missed a big storm up there).  It was such a fun weekend, we went to the pumpkin patch, and me and Sy carved a pumpkin, hung out with Maren and Eli, spent time with Grandma Sabey, went into Lethbridge with Brad and Shannon, went to church, Sunday dinner, and just hung out with the family up there.

Elk Hunting 2012

This past weekend hunting season started with my family, I now don't have a husband on weekends until about December but I am used to it, and I enjoy getting out with him at times.  This weekend we went Elk Hunting and it was so fun, my Dad let us take his trailer so we could take Naylor and he slept in a tent with my Uncle Chad.  It got pretty cold at night and our drinks were frozen solid, but it was so nice during the day.  I absolutely loved it!  It was hard to stay in the trailer so much, I have never really stayed in the trailer camping, always out by the fire, cuz Naylor didn't like to be so bundled up.  But he eventually kinda got used to it.  He better get really used to it or it will be a very long winter.

Jake got a nice spike!
Jake, Mikalyn (his wife) and my Dad going to pull out the Elk

Thank Heaven for Four-Wheeler's or that would be one heck of a pull back to camp.
My Uncle Chad Venable walking back to the razor, I think this is a really great picture.
Naylor and Momma out by the fire.
A moose that Riley saw while hunting!  Grand total of animals seen, two Bull Moose, and alot of cow elk, to bad we didn't have a cow elk tag, we could have alot of meat for winter, a couple deer, and alot of squirrels and chipmunks.

 Dad sitting by the fire!
 Redneck play pen!  Works great!!!
Daddy and his little hunting buddy, Naylor
Jake next to his hanging Elk!
Grandpa and Tenlee riding the Quad!  She loves going for rides.
Myles has a little quad that he rides with a little leash on it that Jake jogs behind him, (he is pretending in these next pictures, he usually wears a helmet when he drives it, that is the rules).
 Showing how it works!

Riley and me, and some of Bubba's blankets, my arm wasn't long enough to get all three of us in the picture.
