St. George

This summer we went down with my family to St. George to spend a couple days down there, we went to Tuacahn, and saw The Little Mermaid, which was so much fun, I loved it, it was done so good. The next day the boys went golfing and the girls went to Vegas, it was my first time there, I didn't really want to gamble so I hung out with Shelby and Abbee, who aren't 21 yet, and we walked the strip, talk about an eye opening experience, but it was fun all the same. Then me and Riley went and visited Aunt Elaina and her family, love that little Kabitu, she is so freaking cute. On Sunday we came home and did family pictures with my family. Here are some pictures of the weekend. Thanks mom and dad for taking us, we loved it.

Abbee, Shelby and me in front of the M&M factory! Right after that we got caught in a down pour. So much fun!

Abbee and Me in front of a guitar statue.

Shelby and me, on top of the M&M factory, don't look down we were a long ways up. Kinda scary!

Riley and me, at Tuacahn, waiting for the show to start, they had the misters on at this point and Riley really wants some of those to help keep cool.

Shelby in front of the stage, we were goofing around til the show started at dark.

View from the Top

Yesterday, a miracle happened, I had the day off of work. That doesn't happen very much especially on a Saturday with both me and Riley off so we decided to do something fun. We went four-wheeling up to the top of Ben Lomand, it's called inspiration point. It was so much fun and the perfect day to do it, it was overcast so not to hot at all. Once we got to the top we went over to the other peak, it was so fun to see everything up top. When we were up there their was a few people up there but not to much, Riley sees these guys walking up the trail we just walked up from, well it is a small world, turns out one of the guys was from Riley's home town, what are the odds of running into someone on the top of the mountain from over 700 miles away. I am beginning to believe my mother in law when she says Southern Alberta is the center of the universe. Then last night we spent some time with Shane and Haulee, it was so much fun and we laughed like we haven't laughed in a long time, so much fun. Well here are some fun pictures we took of our little adventure. Enjoy!

Me and Riley going to the other peak, so much fun, and it felt so good up there with the wind blowing on you, and looking at Willard Bay below.

This is one of the view's from the top, this looks over Ogden City. Lots of houses down there.
So cool to see this from up there, I highly recommend this trail for anyone. It is an easy ride and doesn't take very long at all. Only like two hours or so it is 13 miles to the top.

This is the other part of the city, you can see I-15 down there and the Great Salt Lake in the distance. Pretty sweet looking!

This is the other part of the view, it overlooks Willard Bay and the Great Salt Lake. Lots of water out there this year.

Another picture of me and Riley, this is at the basin, about half way up the backside. It was so green up there still for being the end of July, it was so pretty, and there was still some snow but not to much of that either. I highly recommend this ride for everybody. So much fun, but be aware you get DIRTY! If there is alot of people on the road it can get pretty dusty but totally worth the view!

Life!

A little catch up on life, sorry I haven't updated in awhile. A lot has happened in the past little bit for starters, I am still in school, not so much fun, I am having breakdowns about weekly now, it my last semester and getting ready for boards is not even fun at all. In fact I just took a practice test, pretty sure I failed it. It does help me to know what my weaknesses are though. New exciting news, WE MOVED! We moved to a townhome and I just love it, it is so cute. I will take pictures once we get done decorating.
Riley is still having to go out to the lake all the time for work, he is getting a nice farmers tan, it makes me laugh really hard. It looks like he is wearing a shirt still when he takes it off. So funny!
We had a fun 4th of July, we spent that day in Farr West. Here is some of those pictures.
Well wish me luck! I am about to enter a not very fun time of finals, exit test, and boards.

Greatest Family Ever

Riley and I feel so blessed to belong to the family's that we have, they are just the most incredible people ever, and are all such great examples to us. And we don't tell them this enough but we love all of them so much!

My parents, Troy and Jodi, are such fabulous people, they have been married for 29 years, they are such a great example of how to be married. They have 5 kids, 1 daughter in law, and 2, soon to be 3, son in laws. They are grandparents to 5 grandkids, and they support every single member of their family and friends. They really care of about every single one of us and love to have family get togethers. There is always somebody at their house. They taught me to love the outdoors and to respect nature and enjoy it at the same time. They love to have fun with the family.

Riley's parents, Brad and Shannon, they are really, I couldn't have asked for better in-laws, they raised Riley to be the best guy in the whole world. They have been married for 28 years. They have 4 kids, 1 son in law, and 2 daughter in laws, with 2 grandboys, and another grandson on the way. They really support all of us and show excitement in all the accomplishments that comes to members of the family. They LOVE to have so much fun, which I love so much. The motto that I think goes right along with this family is Work Hard, Play Harder, because that is what it is all about, and I love every minute of it.

Katie and Jesse, they are engaged, they are so sweet to each other. I am so thrilled that they are getting married. Katie is a preschool teacher, and she has so much patience for little kids, I admire that so much in her, it is not something that I have. She is the sweetest person and will always try and help if she can, she loves her niece and nephews and they know it. Jesse works at Cal Ranch, and he loves to play with the niece and nephews as well. He is so good in the family and fits right in.

Shelby, she is an amazing hairdresser, and she is the comedian in the family. If you ever need a laugh just ask Shelby, she has so many crazy stories that you wouldn't even believe she gets herself into. She has so much ambition and goes after what she wants. I so admire that about her.

Jake and Mikalyn, they are missing one child in this picture but this is the one that I could get, so they have two kids now, and they have the two cutest kids ever. Myles and Tenlee. Jake is in the air force and has been deployed twice, Mikalyn is just so brave and I admire that so much about her, I certainly look up to her for that. They are both such great parents to those cute little ones.
Jamie and Chris, they have 3 boys, and so freaking cute, I love them so much. Jamie is also such an amazing hairdresser, she has that ambition and goes after what she wants as well. Chris is such an amazing dad, he really takes care of us family. And those little boys keep them running Gabe and Justin are so into sports and they are so good at them. And Brigham just started t-ball and he is good. He wants to be big just like his older brothers.
Chanse, sorry when I was looking through pictures it looks like Chanse doesn't like our camera so this is really the only picture I could find. Chanse is a information guy, if you ever have any question, Chanse knows the answer, he is so smart, it makes me jealous. His personality reminds me of Riley alot as well. I admire that he is so laid back and doesn't really stress about much of anything. That is a talent that I wish I had.
Jordan and Mandee, they have the newest addition to the Sabey family, Sawyer, and can I just tell you have much I love him. I knew Jordan before he was my brother in law, he served in Utah and actually knew my family, so it was wonderful when Mandee married him. They are both such great examples, they both graduated recently and have their teaching degrees, a profession that I admire but could never do, and they are fantastic parents, being around them for once second you would see how much they love Sawyer and love every part of taking care of him.

Dahlin and Biz, they have the funnest little boy, Syler, he is so smart, he makes you laugh when he is up their and loves his new cousin Sawyer. He also gets a baby brother this year is so excited. He is so good with Sawyer and I know he will be a fabulous big brother. Biz is probably the strongest woman I know. She is incredible. I look up to her so much and admire her. She is amazing! She is a respiratory therapist. Dahlin is an accountant, and he is such a great dad, he really enjoys being around his family, he really takes care of his family.

That is our families, and we are so blessed to have such a great family around to look up to and have fun with. Sorry this post is so long, but I just felt like I should show my appreciate for all the family in our lives, and tell them that I love them all.

Confidence

I made it, I made it to my last semester of nursing school, now I am wishing I am beyond this last semester. It is so hard to juggle everything that needs to be done for this semester, precepting, peds clinicals, and community hours for my capstone project. It is not fun at all! And to top it all off I am so nervous to do my precepting, I just have to be confident in my skills, abilities, and brains. Not an easy thing, I just keep thinking of things that i need to go over and to study and memorize. Just pray I can do this and keep my sanity. Well if you made it this far in my ramblings, this is a picture of the Sabey family. We took it while up in Canada!

Canada Part 1

Hello from Canada,
We are up in Canada and having so much fun, the weather is so great up here, it has been warm, today you will see that we did have some clouds but other then that so far so good. Today we got to repair a barbed-wire fence, it was pretty fun to do, never having done it before, it was out on the Sabey farm and it was quite the experience, which I almost ended up in the creek twice, Riley saved me more than once, ha ha. Here are some fabulous pics of us putting in the posts and putting up some wire, and viola a fence!

This is our new nephew Sawyer, so freaking cute! I love holding him!

This is the finished product of the fence! Me and Riley working hard on the farm!

Grandpa Sabey (Riley's grandpa) and Syler our other nephew, also so freaking cute!

Riley, oh my heck, isn't he just the freaking hottest guy ever! I do believe he is looking GOOD!!! I just love him so much, he looks good doing farm work!
Riley driving his new dream, he totally wants one now, ha ha another thing added to his wish list! It is pretty sweet actually, I wouldn't mind it. Ha ha so maybe for our wish list. Ha ha

Moving On!

I am so freaking excited! It has been finals week in our house for both me and Riley, well Riley handles the stress pretty well, he doesn't stress to much and can enjoy just being done with the tests, me on the other had stress out way to much, even after I have taken the test. Riley just laughs at me with all my crazy antics until my professors post my grades. Well good news, I PASSED all my nursing finals, so freaking happy about that, it means I am moving on to my LAST SEMESTER in school! That means, I will be a freaking crazy person all summer long!
I still have one more final on Friday that is for one of my general ed classes which I still do have to study for and pass. BUT after that we can kiss Utah goodbye, we are headed to CANADA! Party up North! I am just so excited to get away and see our brand new nephew, Sawyer, and of course so excited to see and play with all the family up there. I love my in-laws, they are so much fun and we love going up there! Wish me luck for friday! Peace Out!
