Canada Part 1

Hello from Canada,

We are up in Canada and having so much fun, the weather is so great up here, it has been warm, today you will see that we did have some clouds but other then that so far so good. Today we got to repair a barbed-wire fence, it was pretty fun to do, never having done it before, it was out on the Sabey farm and it was quite the experience, which I almost ended up in the creek twice, Riley saved me more than once, ha ha. Here are some fabulous pics of us putting in the posts and putting up some wire, and viola a fence!

Riley, oh my heck, isn't he just the freaking hottest guy ever! I do believe he is looking GOOD!!! I just love him so much, he looks good doing farm work!

Riley driving his new dream, he totally wants one now, ha ha another thing added to his wish list! It is pretty sweet actually, I wouldn't mind it. Ha ha so maybe for our wish list. Ha ha

Well that is so far our trip, hope it has been a great day for everybody else as well.

Moving On!

I am so freaking excited! It has been finals week in our house for both me and Riley, well Riley handles the stress pretty well, he doesn't stress to much and can enjoy just being done with the tests, me on the other had stress out way to much, even after I have taken the test. Riley just laughs at me with all my crazy antics until my professors post my grades. Well good news, I PASSED all my nursing finals, so freaking happy about that, it means I am moving on to my LAST SEMESTER in school! That means, I will be a freaking crazy person all summer long!

I still have one more final on Friday that is for one of my general ed classes which I still do have to study for and pass. BUT after that we can kiss Utah goodbye, we are headed to CANADA! Party up North! I am just so excited to get away and see our brand new nephew, Sawyer, and of course so excited to see and play with all the family up there. I love my in-laws, they are so much fun and we love going up there! Wish me luck for friday! Peace Out!

Clinical Experience

Hey All!

I am finally putting these up, they are from clinicals and here are some kids from school. This week I took these I was on L & D and can we say, I LOVE THAT PLACE. I seriously do, it was amazing to witness these births and coach these women through this incredible experience, loved every minute of it. But that is also why I am not in my school scrubs, we had to dress in OR scrubs so that we could scrub in to watch the C-Sections. I loved this clinical day! And today was our last day of clincals for this semester! It was awesome!

This is me and Boston, she is awesome and will be such a great nurse! Don't mind that I was so tired that day, so hard to stay awake and work for 12 hours!

Steve and Natalie, both are way smart, and they also will be such great nurses as well!

Boston and Alisa, I think Alisa is just amazing and will be an incredible nurse! as well!

Again, Boston and Alisa, just goofing around! This is our last semester of clinicals now we are onto precepting and it will be so exciting! So close to being done, yet so far! We will all be fabulous nurses I think and can't wait to actually be done with school! Good luck everybody in my class!

Oh, What A Beautiful Day!

I just love that musical, OKLAHOMA, and would very much watch it right now if I had it but this is not what this post is about, another post will be on musicals. Today I had every intention of being a good nursing student and studying my brains out until I say what a beautiful day it was outside. It was such a bright blue sky and can we say billowie clouds! Just amazing, while looking at them I had the sudden urge to climb a tree and just watch all the passerby's. I think I would have througly enjoyed myself and would have called it a very productive day but alas I couldn't find any trees and it was kinda windy/somewhat cold outside. But I couldn't just sit inside on a day like today, I had to settle for sitting in the sun in the house. Oh Well! This weather did bring to mind summer days of old when I had nothing better to do than climb a tree, sit in a hammock or play with friends all day long loving every single minute of it! Here are some random pics of just having fun in the sun! Oh how I love summer and cannot wait for it to return to my presence! I also can't wait for the day when I can once again have a summer without school in it, but another blogpost this one is happy! Oh and I did end up studying tonight for all my tests this week, OH CAN WE SAY BARFF!

And this is a vacation, we took to Yellowstone! I freaking love that place, totally have to go there if you have never been! It is amazing! This is just out in front of the elk refuge in Jackson Hole, another amazing place!

For My Husband

When I met Riley he told me about this band from Alberta, he played this song for me and I wasn't to fond of it at first, but it grew on me, and while playing on the internet one day I found this video. Brings a smile to my hubby's face everytime he hears it, and I just love when he smiles and laughs. Hope you enjoy it! It is a pretty great song!

What Matters Most
