Long Time Coming

I did it! I finally passed my boards and I am officially a Registered Nurse. I am so grateful to everyone who helped me out, especially our families, and of course Riley, he had to deal with nursing school the most. He says he should get an honorary license for having to put up with the late nights, early early mornings, and having to work for free, ha ha he doesn't know the half of it. He actually could probably pass most the tests just listening to me study and talk about things out loud. I just can't believe I actually made it, this has been my dream for so many years, it is what I have always wanted to do with my life. I couldn't believe when i saw my name on the dopl website, it was very surreal and dream like (it was pretty late at night when it posted so it could have been a dream). Just to make sure I wasn't dreaming I got on this morning and there it was again! Oh so thrilled! My next step is to continue working in Float Pool at the hospital, except as a RN, and see what happens from there. I graduate tomorrow from school, and will update with that soon. YAY!
